It's very clear amongst the Territory Managers across the country that it's time for a change. If you have the opportunity, now is the time to start looking and take any good offers that come your way. I have spoken to NO LESS than 20 reps that are ACTIVELY interviewing to leave Ista ASAP. The writing is definitely on the wall. Bepreve numbers are no where close to meeting expectations, generic Xibrom will be carried by none other than Alcon which will eat away at the only drug that is keeping Ista truly afloat, we will not hit the stretch goal of $165mm by year end, "the biggest day in Ista's history" is going to supposedly take place in October (either a purchase of another company or buyout), the managers are absolutely inept, budgets are restricted, trading stock is prohibited, stock prices are flat, Bepreve pricing has restricted growth (notice where the growth stopped...June when the price increase took effect), communication is non-existent, corporate hierarchy is rapidly changing and the people at the helm of this very small organization put all of our future's into the hope that an ALLERGY EYE DROP would carry the 65-member expansion of the sales force and the company to new levels!! I am outraged at the poor direction of this company and the lack of consistencies across the entire company. Heed this warning. Do with it what you will, but it's worth taking into consideration. And then there is the fact that you are treated like garbage. Bepreve is underperforming nationwide. Most of us have been successful in past lives. I seriously doubt that all of our talent disappeared when when we started working here. Don't let these monsters destroy your confidence.

Just because someone is repulsed by the ridiculous "leadership" and happenings in this company, you label that "whining?" Also, who said any anything about "underperforming?" Why don't you just continue to stay in the little Ista world and reign supreme. Hey, if you are number one in the country, you MAY make $130k. That...is funny. 165 people vying for number one, taking the b.s. from management, and getting underpaid. I know you weren't specifically addressing me, but I am leaving...and soon. Enjoy looking for a job when you are FORCED to because Ista, as a publicly traded company IS "UNDERPERFORMING!" Get a clue moron...

This dude is spot on...I'm just glad you verbalized it! I think everyone is upset at this company right now, except for those that inherited a great territory, or those handful that are left that just don't know better. Kudos to you! Let's hear what others think!!
 






I think the previous posters are sour. If you're not making the money you want then leave. I'm sure there are a lot of companies out there that want your "bottom feeding" asses.

First of all, I hope anyone not making money would want to leave, right?? I'm sure you've never had a better job than the one you are in. And that's ok...some people chose mediocrity and are happy with that. If you think Ista is the end-all-be-all, then I'm sure you have reached your full potential as a rep anyway. And again, that's ok. But for those of us that strive for something better, and can actually see the writing on the wall, and that aren't drinking the eye drop kool-aid, then there are numerous reasons to leave this sinking ship. Am I sour? Of course! What moron wouldn't be sour when management mislead everyone from the beginning. For you, stay naive, because as they say, ignorance is bliss. For me, I'm out in less than one month guaranteed.
 






Nobody inherited a good territory except for Xibrom. That drug doesnt even count. The entire sales force needs to get fired or leave. THE ONLY WAY TO MEASURE SUCCESS AT ISTA IS WITH BEPREVE. ALL THE 4-5 YEAR VETERANS WHO CANT SELL THIS DRUG ARE THE PROBLEM. How can rejects sell anything. Half the sales force is one step away from trailer trash.
