By using the term "ingrates", you imply that we should be "grateful".  What should we be grateful for?  It's not like DSI came along and lifted me from the depths of despair out of its kindness and desire to spread goodness.  I'm paid by DSI to do a job--a job I do very well and, I think, better than anyone else they would pay the same amount.  Perhaps you feel grateful, because you feel that, while accepting the pay from DSI, you're really not worth it.  I guess I'd have the same perspective as you if I knew I didn't give 110% every day.  Gratitude has nothing to do with it; DSI leadership has handled this poorly and I would expect better.  Should I survive this first cut (and I suspect I will), then I may be looking anyway.  But that is my choice.  I'll leave the notions of gratitude to the likes of you.
