Amgen's world turns this Wednesday (4-20-11) after the market close. Look for improved denosumab sales and near flat (most) for the others, enough to cut more fat, aka overhead. Denosumab can't make up for the other declining drug sales.

THURSDAY (4-21-11) morning, we will know if Kevin Sharer has agreed to a first ever regular dividend. I'll have plenty to say if it doesn't happen. Ten years of indolence is more than enough time.

Good news! Amgen, today (4-21-11), states that a first ever dividend will be declared this 1/4, when it files it's 1/4 report.

Good news . . . .hah, stock price down 5% today after results and update meeting.

Prolia sucking wind

I am very critical of Amgen but only for things that should be changed. The dividend is a nice start, although on the low side. Still, it's money in my pocket.

Amgen is concentrating on the future and if all goes well, we should see the shares rise to a more acceptable number.
