Thoughts on company phones

Problem with company phone is you cannot disable location monitoring even if you 'think' you can, even when its 'off'.. Only way is to place the phone in a metalized foil bag. As you may or may not know the location tracking updates your location every 4 seconds (15 times per minute) !! Company has access to this. They literally can follow you all over.

Not that I'm paranoid, I even place my phone in a foil bag unless I need to call, like right after this post.

Hey Corky glad to see you are still watching strange brew on your VCR player I don’t really believe your phone can be tracked if it’s turned off during the day...I’m out doing my job...granted some days I leave at 6am..other days 8:30...may get home at 4:00 or maybe 6:00....I just don’t want 2 phones to carry every damn day doing this job
 






Please get your own personal cell phones. My company did this a few years ago. People traded in their cell phones and got the company phone. They monitor those company phones for all social media post, YouTube channels, web sites etc. Dont think you'll ever be able to go into cafepharma again on a company phone.

I carry 2 phone now. My manager not coworkers have the number.

Jesus....we cannot even keep track of silverware in the cafe...and you think a DM, Leader or a CA&O flunky is back tracking your GIS data.

the data is collected by standard surveillance software, probably Silent Runner. It tracks all .Your activity, including GPS, keypad activity and voice.
 






Do you think k they record voice? I live in a state that’s pursuing a lawsuit for voice recording staff who are unaware they are being recorded. This is a great company and glad to be hear. I would think they are smart enough not to play in such a grey space. Ours states lawyers would be all over this.

What expectation will a manager have if his employee has a work phone, it is 630 pm, and it is a simple question?
