Thoughts about P4 Town Hall Tomorrow??

Reality is that tommorow will be very positive and great opportunity for those rolled into EPBU. That is fancy for be glad you still hvae a job. Many questions remain. Bonus configuration, territories, samples amounts, budgets, and most importantly how long will this extention provide work. For the details, that is coming down the road for the select few. I say few because Thurs will be the day to stay at home and wait for that call. I feel the territries will be huge and thusfore reduce headcount considerably. Best of luck to us all. Only hope is that the way geography lines up hopefully you fall within the area they are looking to slot.

My thoughts are that I am really exhausted by all the hype and then the quiet before the storm. Why the hell send out the training schedule to all the RFC's to pass on the the reps, if all the reps are not being placed? And thanks for the raise, really helped to raise my morale. I agree with the previous post, huge territories and I hope my geography is a lucky one. I actually like my job, when I am not STRESSING MY ASS OFF. Good luck to all. I hope that if I get the "I am sorry" call that I get a really nice P4 retirement watch, engraved with little blue pills, that I can sell on ebay.

This is just ridiculous. Pfizer is creating an environment of constant turmoil. I know contract work is not guaranteed, but this is just crazy. Every time you turn around you aren’t sure if you have a job or not. Pfizer sucks!

Any updates on the townhall? ex-p4 here and wondering how things will unfold.

I just rode with my new DBM who was the old managed care guy (one rank higher than the DBM ... whatever Pfizer calls it) my point being that this rep was just under the Regional for our business unit. After their re-alignment, he had to step down into the DBM slot.

So with that said, he was with me during the CC.

He said "That's news to me that I may be getting a P4 to take over what I just saw four Pfizer reps layed off for." Never heard that ... ever ... before right now.

I said, "So that extra crap about a third business opportunity ... "

"Is just that ... crap". He said.

Wow talk about stress...the last few weeks without any formal announcements regarding Lipitor training had made me uneasy. Now just sick. Is this really how Pfizer/Publicis wants us to work? Constant anxiety about whether we have jobs or not? They want our best but don't give us their respect? If contract work is the way of the future and soooo important to both Pfizer and Publicis then why??
