You can post but unless you work w/ your DM for their support it is a long shot. A lot of reps don't understand that without their DM's blessing it is almost impossible. While your DM can't tell you not to post they can certainly discourage. When you post without asking your DM you just took 3 steps backwards. Your best bet is to take feedback from your DM, improve that skill set and work w/ them for a promotion.
