Just saw a post on LinkedIn from someone at Sun, showcasing their booth at the Nat’l. Assoc. of Chain Drug Stores in Denver last week.

What caught my eye was the two tag lines under the big Sun logo:

“Re-engineered global supply chain” and

“Trusted Quality Control”

WHAT company would say this about themselves ?

The first line really says “our logistics and ability to get product to you has sucked and we (think) we’ve now fixed it”

The second line about quality ???

Seriously, this company is talking about quality after having BOTH of its two largest manufacturing sites closed down for two years by FDA! And you’re now talking about quality control ?

No thanks.

That just shows you how much SUN has their heads ... in the sand. I’m in Trade (elsewhere) and I saw the setup. Kinda weird to say the least.

I think this reflects a small part of the the deep, systemic issues that run through every element of this company. From production, quality, ethics ...
