thinking about carrying now when working

I've had a conceal carry permit for years, but never carried while working, and never carried in my car. things have changed out there, and the city I work in has become 'sketchy', and now I'm thinking seriously about carrying in my car.

I'm pretty sure Novo would fire me if they knew, but does anyone else carry while working?

If you have to use it, do you care if you lose your job afterwards? Funny cause home office has right security, yet you in the field are not allowed to secure yourselves???

Nope, no way. Too much of a chance of it being stolen from your car if you are working in sketchy areas and the obvious company policy against it. Honestly, if I were working in an urban area like it sounds you are and it was that unsafe, i would start looking at either a home office opportunity or another role elsewhere, perhaps out of the rep role all together.

Yep, I hear you on this, and I've considered that. Nut the reality is that we are paid very well to do a job that isn't hard, and the benefits, etc are excellent. If I get fired as a result of an 'event', then I will have maximized my time in a position that rewards me well.

I don't go looking for trouble, but I will do everything necessary to come to the wife and kids at the end of the day..

agree with you there. The big city near me is an absolute war zone now, used to be one of the great cities and travel destinations in the US. Thank god my territory is outside of that area or I may be in the same predicament as you.

Are you guys going to do this same thing every 4 years? Because we all know where the thread is headed. Why dont you just be upfront and state your real objective?

Is it wrong to be concerned about working in an area with rampant carjackings, violence, drugs and mobs of wilding teens? Wheeling around a cooler of medications I stick out like a sore thumb in some sections. No agenda here, just being honest.

You seem a little too fragile for this job. Maybe get a work from home gig so you can hide with your guns and feel “safe”.

To be fair, your cute rolling cooler sticks out everywhere that’s not a park or stadium.

Why weren't you as honest when you accepted the job, knowing the awful, God-forsaken dangerous area you would cover?

THANK you. I wish these snowflakes would just quit (or quit whining). We literally have what's got to be the easiest job that pulls in over $100k. If you're so afraid of the bad parts of your territory, just do what we've always done here-just dont go there. Or, grow a set and resign.

Someone was murdered, shot in the head, on the street near one of my offices last month. Middle of the day. This is something that happens multiple times, every day, in my town. You can call me a snowflake if you like from your elitist, ignorant, suburban bubble but some of our cities have become dangerous.

True on every level. In a pharmacy and it was being robbed, taking everything off the shelves in garbage bags and a staff member grabbed me and pulled me into the staff hall. WTF

*gasp* Sounds absolutely horrific. Then you should quit and move, or conceal carry your G43 as you travel these war zones that you're cursed to work in. Whatever you do, dont keep coming on this site to cry like an entitled sissy-baby from Montessori about the company "tryin ta violate ya second amendment rots."

You assume. First time posting for me on this thread, I was responding to the OP who I agree with. You seem very condescending, good luck with that as I'm sure those around you really enjoy it.
