Honestly, I believe most of us will be just fine. With Arcapta right around the corner, and longevity with Exelon Patch, Reclast, and Exforge/Hct to sell, I believe we will retain most of our GM people. Plus, we may be licensing another product very soon. Lets think positive! Who's with me?
 
























Yeah I am with this guy, what do we have to worry about? 5000 reps with nothing to sell but things will work out. My only concern are the swiss and the benjamins. The swiss will bulldoze east hanover if thats what it takes to get their benjamins. and they will get their benjamins.

Yes, I'm an idiot, and YES.... I believe you should all follow me to a fulfilling, happy, long-term career at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation. Hey, I agree that worrying makes you sick and is no fun., but there is a difference between worrying yourself sick and doing nothing else/vs being realistic about what is about to happen and PREPARING yourself/family/resume. To believe that many will continue to have a "long term happy fufilling career at Novartis" in light of recent events and lack of pipeline is utter foolishness. Buy hey, go ahead and bury your head in the quicksand if you so choose.....

See! I told you all there's nothing to worry about. If you stay, you have a job. If you go, you will get a severance package and will be happier elsewhere. Don't worry, be happy and live live without the nastiness. : )
 






I'm with you optimist,who most in this company full of robots think is naive or dumb. I'm with you.
Being let go means severance and a new and exciting job elsewhere, if you are any good. Otherwise, the mighty Novartis machine decides you are worthy and you get to keep your job. No harm, no foul. Sounds like a win win to me.....so Amen. Preach!

So sick of the KP rants. Who cares if he lands on his feet at Novartias. It wasn't a job you were going to get. I hope you find peace in your next position, here or not. I have the positive outlook where although I would love to keep my job, I am prepared to find employment somewhere else and provide for my wife and four kids. Best wishes to you all.
