The WL Gore story...

I hear and read great things about Gore, but then it seems they are just not growing at a pace that aligns with all of the stories. Is it just good marketing but no delivery? How is Gore perceived out there?

They have been around for quite a while and have some innovative products to show, but what is the culture like? Do folks like working there?

Would like to know more about them, as well....is it still a high-base/low-commission career gig? What is the status of their medical division right now?

Must be growing like crazy; they just finished building a manufacturing plant in Flagstaff and two others in Phoenix.

I worked there years ago. Hands down, the best device job I ever had. If the opportunity presents itself, it's worth a look.

I left to make a little more money. I enjoythe extra cash, but the job satisfaction isn't the same.

Does Gore use external recruiters, or are all openings filled through referrals or internal recruiting? My understanding was that they didn't post openings. Would welcome the opportunity to interview with them.
