Imagine thinking that account managers across the country all had an interest in doing contracting and assuming they would all be good at it.  There isn’t some guaranteed correlation between being an effective account manager and doing contracting.  Getting rid of the VCM and IVCM rolls and giving contracting to people who never had interest in it was a colossal mistake.  Taking people out of those rolls who were both very good at it and liked doing it and thinking account managers and or reps who were laid off then promoted via interview could be as good is astonishing to me.   And let’s not even get started with the horrific contracting training…
