And I think that this illustrates how it has turned out here for our Tea Bugger(ed) friend who likes to post here.

They live in their own little world, comfortable with polls that show that they are winning or telling each other that the polls that say that they aren't are either misinterpreted or skewed. They also like to make quotes that are, in many cases wrong or misattributed, are ok in their own little bubble but when they get out of it they are laughed at. Like a Tea Bugger(ed) trying to quote Lincoln. Then they wrap around it home brewed theories which when examined are as silly as their other unscientific beliefs like climate change.

Reality strikes again. He started out with posts like this trying to convince us how unpopular Obama Care is, how the GOP was going to win, and his denial of simple facts like the middle class tax subsidies for him and his kinds, but we are ending up here.

The GOP will lose big time on the shutdown / default. It may not allow the Dems to take back Congress but it will help them, despite the fact that it is a Pres midterm election and the GOP's state level racist Gerrymandering and voter suppression, trim seats off of the GOP majority there. It will also, once again, prevent the GOP from winning a majority of the seats in the Senate.

It will also hurt them in the long run, 9 million people will sign up for, despite the GOP's trying to sabotage it, Obama Care in the next year. It is estimated that about half of them don't vote but now they will now know that if they don't the GOP will take it from them. Most of the Red States tried to sabotage it by refusing to set up exchanges but instead forced the Fed Govt to do so. Online and on the ground at every center you are encouraged to register to vote. It is obvious that most will vote Dem for the rest of their lives.

Obama beet Romney by about 5 M votes so ~ 4.5 M will make a big difference in future elections.
