The SLT has finally been found out. Their lack of governance and integrity have resulted in a loss of confidence from both employees and Wall Street. Count on this: They will not be left holding the bag at the end of the year. Any and all actions they deem necessary to collect their bonuses and stock options at the end of the year will be implemented regardless of the pain it inflicts upon the employees of this company.

Expect it!!!
 
If the hsp board wasn't so clubby You would think somebody senior would be getting fired over this horse shit. But you are most likely right and wage freezes and layoffs are right around the corner. Accountability is only for staffers, not HSP senior management royalty.

Why isn't someone getting fired over this??

Could we start with Chris Begley? He shouldn't be allowed within 50 miles of H1.

How about the Marketing folks? They have repeatedly hidden the truth from sales and it's obvious that most are in way over their heads.

How about Tom Moore & Sean O'Donnell? They bought the BCG sales alignment strategy hook, line, and sinker. That should be enough for immediate dismissal, but they went further and shoved the garbage collecting Salesforce.com and completely non-sensical Hospira IQ down our throats. Are they Blind? Did they just need to spend some money? QUIT THROWING MONEY AT THESE STUPID PROGRAMS!!!! They yield no return whatsoever.

Manufacturing is completely screwed up.
Contract Marketing doesn't have a clue.
Sales is managed by a bunch of fear-mongers who lead by intimidation.

Fix the Foundation?!?!? The foundation of this company is the people in manufacturing, distribution, and sales. We don't need to fix the foundation. We need to go much higher in the pyramid. We need to fix the leadership. We need to rid the board and Senior Leadership of the stock-grabbing THIEVES who have been riding on the backs of the foundation for far too long.

Mike Ball needs to rid the house of all the money-grubbing, paper-pushing leadership that stuck us in this deep hole.
 
Unfortunately, I fear it might soon become painfully obvious that Mike "Road Trip" Ball, is part of the problem, not the solution. After all, consider who hired him, and look at the past judgement shown at the top with all those other hires directly into sr level positions from outside the organization over the past few years. How are they all working out? I think you are absolutely correct in thinking that the foundation was and remains fairly sturdy, at least for now. Rather it's that dormer they slapped on the roof to accomodate the bloat of expansive Sr. mgmt that may need complete gutting and a redo.
 
Dr. Chief of RD...Science or whatever....cashed in his options months prior to this...several $million anyways.
