The Rise and Fall of Transplant

The Rise and Fall of Transplant

C.W.was expecting a billion dollars from this franchise and what did CS give him?

The “three blind mice” to run the store.

And if you look at the greatest imposter of them all - DG.. take a peek at her CV and it screams no clinical experience but she bears the title of Medical Director. Riddle me that??

This destructive course could have been corrected, but CS, how did you sign off on the return of total incompetence to run the marketing show, everyone is wondering why you would allow this person back.

As the years went by the collapse of the ‘bridge” was inevitable, due to the arrogance and vengeance. What was once a promising franchise was destroyed. You believe that no-one can see… but don’t be mistaken it is front and center for all to ridicule.

And here is the kicker..:

The return of the empty “hall”. An entity that is vacant of any real clinical/marketing/transplant knowledge.

But this was what the franchise desperately needed to propel them towards success. But don’t be mistaken it is front and center for all to ridicule.

This caused a ripple of giggles in the room:
……”hil, hil, hil, wait, I will walk behind you going up the stairs!”

How much has the incompetence of “three blind mice” cost Takeda?

Meaningless engagements where the customer asked for clinically relevant transplant support and it became obvious that they lacked the knowledge and expertise needed to fulfill the request.

  • All these meetings, congresses and multiple agencies that the “mice” enlisted ended up being a colossal waste of time and resources. CS.. beware of the “smoke and mirrors”. The KOLs walked away with clear understanding that this group has no idea what they are talking about, a complete waste of time, did they even have a agenda?, why did they want to meet if they have NOTHING to offer. These engagements that are so highly regarded are a complete disaster.
It might be time for CS to ask the sales team their opinion. You then may understand why the franchise is not a billion dollar franchise as CW thought it could be.

The “three blind mice” have left a black eye on this franchise that at one time held real promise. It did not have to be this way.. but insecure and incompetent leadership left no hope for success.

Wow! Never have truer words been spoken! Imagine if this franchise had a medical director who actually had relationships and a clinical background. The choice of this person is reflective of other awful decisions that have been made. The medical director, the past and current marketing leads, and one RD in particular have done nothing to benefit the franchise. Add in the awful decision to sever DY and KC and it shows how pathetic SL and CB really are. A prime example of their incompetence was the goal that was set a year or so ago that was double what it should have been!!! Who does that? This field team is so good but has lost what little trust and confidence they had in this leadership team. I agree that CS should talk to every TAM and understand how this leadership team has lost all respect.

Analyzing the Situation: A Breakdown of the Issues

Key Issues:

* Leadership and Management:

* Incompetent leadership: The "three blind mice" and the "master of imposters" DG are described as lacking clinical experience and marketing expertise. This suggests a significant leadership failure.

* Arrogance and vengeance: These negative traits are attributed to someone who has destroyed enthusiasm and trust within the team.

* Marketing and Strategy:

* Lack of knowledge: The "empty hall" suggests a void of clinical or marketing understanding.

* Wasted resources: The expenses associated with meetings over three years are deemed a waste due to lack of results.

* Customer Experience and Perception:

* Negative feedback: Customers are described as having a negative experience, feeling the meetings were a waste of time.

* Embarrassment: The presence of the incompetent leadership is seen as embarrassing for the company.

Potential Solutions:

* Leadership Overhaul:

* Replace the current leadership with individuals who possess the necessary expertise and experience.

* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

* Strategic Realignment:

* Conduct a thorough review of the marketing strategy and make necessary adjustments.

* Focus on delivering value to customers through effective communication and problem-solving.

* Customer-Centric Approach:

* Prioritize customer needs and feedback.

* Invest in customer relationship management and satisfaction.

* Transparency and Accountability:

* Establish clear communication channels and expectations.

* Hold individuals accountable for their performance and results.

Questions for Further Investigation:

* What are the specific reasons for the "master of imposters" being appointed as medical director?

* How can the company address the negative perceptions and restore customer trust?

* Are there any underlying cultural or organizational issues contributing to the current situation?

By addressing these issues and implementing appropriate solutions, the company can potentially recover from the current challenges and achieve its desired goals.

This post is so accurate! Not sure why CS can't see the empty Hall and Bridge leading nowhere. Used to be excited to be part of this team and now it's just embarrassing to to be part of this fake, underproducing team. I can't wait to get away from a place that treats employees so poorly and really doesn't care about patients. Never have I encountered such fake, empty words. Disgusting excuse of management!

You can’t have a billion dollar franchise with a fifty cent management team! HH proved her ineffectiveness once and they hired her back. CB continues to diminish a great sales team to protect an individual who is toxic. There is no way this franchise could be successful with management like that. CS needs to wake up!!

So funny!!! This is what is heading up transplant!! Anyone wondering why this division is in a world of hurt should have been sitting at the table witnessing this behavior.
