The REAL story here

Never posted before, but have to say that I am so done with this company. Until now, I have really tried to keep a very positive attitude but there is only so much a rep can do and I feel I have no company support to back up all my hard work. Most people I do talk to only say their territories seem to be getting worse and I don't ever see us achieving the numbers that they really need to stay afloat. I have contacted some recruiters and I have now resigned to get out as soon as I can and I didn't think I would do this. In light of recent developments and the fact that I never feel we get the real story and truth about things, I no longer want to work for these people. I think we are always fed half truths and from my manager as well. I sincerely gave this my all, but I don't think we are being lead by ethical and honest people. We are never told anything and when people leave likeourr director of training CR, it is just swept under the rug with no explanations. I think the smartest people have been the ones that have already quit and they realized what this situaton was all about. The lack of stability is extremely stressful and I need to work for a more stable and ethical company that knows what they are doing. I just read that certain reps had been asked to leave and i know this to be true because i knew one of them. I feel like we are lied to all the time. Does anyone else feel this way?

you talk a lot about them being unethical and lying to us, but what about? I really don't know that they have? so Cindy left; it makes sense, she lives across the country and it costs a lot to keep having her fly to train; please share because I'm trying to decide...

.you have got to be kidding? If I was you I would stay, girlfriend.

If you think we are getting told the whole story look at the current job openings on the company website. Did we hire a trainer? Nothing specific on any territory openings. 147 territories is now 138. Look at your own District openings, is your manager actively interviewing? Has anyone in your District been given new accounts to "cover"?

I don't see what's so bad about it here. I just get out there every day and do my best bull dog and chase down the surgeons, they eventually succumb to my Northwestern charm.

No surprise you are struggling. CEO is a loser. Way in over his head. Check his pedigree. Did not lead in previous life and doubt that he has assembled a leadership team to drive success in your organization. Talked his way up at Elan. Yes man, could care less about the sales force and most likely looking to sell and cash out. Good luck!

Yahoo Finance : Ofirmev Finally Taking Off 30-Jan-12 12:55 pm

Today I am getting phone calls from colleagues saying that they cannot get Ofirmev from there wholesalers. My wholesaler is currently back ordered. It appears that the drug is finally starting to get used a lot, and the manufacturer is unable to keep up with demand. Please let me know if you are experiencing this across the country.

Is this really true..who can help me from the company tp answer this question?

The demand is really high and they have adjusted. Ordering should continue with no problems this week.

We have no idea what youre talking about. Move along, nothing to see here.

What if we were actually achieving the insane, unscientific, irrational, ignorant goals set for us last year. Our current situation referred to above could very well be on the national news. However, since we are where we are, its just a big embarrassment where the field is told nothing and left holding the bag. Great company, superb leadership, we are Cadence.

Good if demand is increasing, but not good if it can't be supplied timely for use. Hopefully its just a small bottleneck. If another 10 sales folks were downsized, this simply signals they don't need them to convince anyone anymore---its heading towards running itself over time--just as i expected! Upon closing in on market penetration, a drug like this doesn't need too many sales folks!"
