The place to be: Sun Pharma

I'm not so sure. I applied for an in-house position that has been posted for months and was told they were not interested. I have over 17 years experience in what they are looking for and over 30 years in the industry. Nothing but stellar achievements. Even did a startup similar to Sun in the same therapeutic category and built it from the ground up. I thought they would love to get their hands on someone like me. Guess I was too high priced.

OK, now let the typical CafePharma snide remarks begin!

No i see why this might have happened. If you know too much then that is not going to be a good thing...they already have enough of them in an absorbed form or from big us pharma. I also think what is transpiring is REALITY.......

reality by those that are now newly in place realize this is a long term...real long term journey....where being the high priced branded generic or high priced one off brand is not an easy task. The culture as you know of this organization is from India. They want it all and they don't necessarily want to pay for it.

So I wouldn't take it personally....I would say Sun is figuring out its US culture as we speak, and it might not be a unique road ahead

Some people, like those who recently joined Sun, can be compared to people that are easily sold on BS. All the hype for nothing. Even if Bromsite had 70% market share in the first year (which is impossible) it wouldn't support the division. Do the math. Once Indian leadership sees this...it's the end for Sun Oph. Bromsite will be sold to Akorn and Sun will continue to thrive as a generic company. Good luck though.

a lot of sales folks

Better be good sales people. And I mean good like a fridgerator salesman at Sears

Because there are a lot of expenses and headcount to sell an eye drop.

So put your shoes on and get selling. Or you won't be here in 46 weeks.

Some reps need to learn how to conduct themselves in offices!!!! Already making a bad name for your company without having product available!!! Anyone that didn't get opportunity to join this company should be thankful!!!!!
