The PERRY EXPERIMENT should end soon.

Ok FO-
I admire your loyalty to your longtime colleague but the time has come to end the PS experiment.
Highlights of PS experiments include:

the bungled BED launch because all the overlay expansion hires were directed to call on Peds instead of being directed to only increase our adult physician reach.

The clinical nurse educator for BED was another waste of $$

Hiring hundreds of reps to educate on DED 6 months prior to launch has proven to be another fruitless endeavor.

Now this debacle of an NBU realignment on the fringe of a drug launch-which we paid ZS associates for.
Good investment? Doubtful-since we still have not been provided zip codes for territories we will be calling on in 3 weeks.

And Finally, this major cluster of a a failed launch in the OBU

PS is clearly in way over his head.

Give us some leadership that we can confidently follow.

The launch of xiidra is hardly failed... They over promised and over forecasted based on the market. Managed care isn't holding up their end of the bargain on this one.

OBU had their training of xiidra at the Fountainbleu in Miami getting nice gifts every night... NBU is getting same training over 2 conference calls... another example of the the TEAM treating their superstar like garbage... if that pyramid is thrown on the screen at one more NSM there might be a riot... most talented person on the call by far today was the MSL from Chicago... our leadership are all talentless losers who get handed jobs they don't deserve

Don't get me started on Nurse Educators... mine admitted she had another job but Shire was "handing" out free money with no accountability and she wasn't going to turn it down...
The one thing those clowns at corporate are great at is wasting money instead of giving it back to the individuals who generate it.
How bad was that copay support program they spent $3 million on for three months and then bailed on it because it "didn't pay off"... could you not crunch some numbers like smart people at other companies do with your titles before handing over $3 million to a scam company that makes a living off idiot leaders like ours?
FO PS KK KC MR are bad enough leaders they would make great politicians... love to waste money other people work hard earning on stuff that doesn't work out

His biggest failure is putting the Midwest inbred in charge of the most important launch in Shire history. She doesn't have the bandwidth to launch a division. Pussy over common sense is his biggest mistake. Plus, how can you have a President that can barley pronucate basic words like thankfully or salesforce.

Xiidra launch was very successful, its only a struggle now because the entire market is down since its the first of the year and patients have not met their deductible or their plan has changed. I know things will get better in a month or so, however managed care has to get better. We are not like the Cali reps that have 80% LIS and they just shove the burden of the cost onto the tax payer. Also I would guess when they get rid of these buckets and give us goals and take inconsideration MARKET SHARE things will really turn around. We have to have a MARKET SHARE COMPONENT or this will just be like buckets.

It's not just Perry. Shire is supposed to be performance based but there are too many people in leadership positions who got there because they were buddies with the person above them.
People don't want to hear and don't respect people who didn't earn their titles the "old fashioned way" yapping about performance.

They just told us on our CC training yesterday that over 80% of commercially insured patients are covered when it comes to xiidra... is that true or another leadership lie? Kind of like the one when KC told us we would be making more money with the new indexing model... if u believed that u r as dumb as the people running this company...

Sure maybe nationally...but when you take into account individual markets, smaller plans that make up a large % of territories where it is not covered and all docs get all day long is PA'S that is difficult and it makes for frustrated docs and pa fatigue.... Just bc you're covered in some bigger plans nationally doesn't mean everything is awesome.

Yes things will start getting better in a month or so once we start doing your job and selling your product for you...

That's not fair. I'm a NBU rep and it's not us against OBU. It's should be all of us against this leadership team. This plan makes no sense and it will put the launch of other products coming soon at risk. We know nothing about the eye care industry so to act like we're going to come in and save the day is asinine.

Ok NBU at least the smart ass that thinks he/she will save the OBU all by themselves, well you can go F$@k yourself. You don't know the difference between a Optometrist or Ophthalmologist and you are gonna save me, please! You just check the box, drop off your sample and move on and try not to screw things up in my offices. Why do so many NBU have attitudes toward OBU? I don't know you, haven't done anything to you, I sure don't bad mouth you so why don't you drop the attitude!

Get the facts right: managed care coverage is 84% nationally; salary & bonus (Friday payout) is at the top tier of pharma specialty reps; the company is in a far stronger position (financial & future products) than the old Shire! So get your facts right Mr. Fired Troll!

Kk.... shouldn't you be working on drumming up
more free xiidra work for the nbu to do??

Nice to know how healthy the company is financially whichever of the 5 stooges up in corporate made that comment... the financial position of the company has always been good and the old leadership paid us good bonuses and rewarded us when we hit milestones like maybe hitting the $2 billion mark for Vyvanse... real leaders would have made a big deal about that and done something nice for those that made it possible.... that was pretty shady trying to just hide it in an email to us.... that should be shouted from the mountain tops and we should get paid... u all rights too worried about the money in your own bank accounts

Your docs are going to like us more than u after 1 visit so be careful... after we hit them with "what is holding you back from making Xiidra first choice when treating dry eye" the second we introduce ourselves the r going to be all in and numbers r going to explode thanks to us

Thanks! Finally an honest posting! I keep hearing about the old Shire from the older reps but I don't give a darn about the old days! We live in the present and so far the launch of Xildra has been successful. I just laugh at the old timers and fired troll posts!

Workers at corporate already told us that u r the one that always use the fired troll line kk... come up with a new one please... we aren't trolls. We r the large majority and most of us don't think xiidra launch was a failure. You do... that is why u r asking nbu to help out when obu doesn't really need the help. We have confidence in our colleagues... leadership has no confidence in us. Most of us could get another job in a minute and we don't need fo or ps to hand it to us... we choose to stay because we won't have to deal with any of you much longer as soon as the board wakes up...

We may not know the difference between an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist but we know what a successful sales team looks like... we have billions of $$$ in sales and never needed the rare disease or GI division to help us out in getting there... don't get mad or offended by this post... it is fact not opinion... not sure if we will help out but we do have a good track record... our leadership team starting with fo and ps down to that moron KC have an awful track record but they have huge bank accounts. Once Abbvie backed out of buying us these people had no clue how to run an organization... they made a ton of money though when Abbvie backed out but wanted to sell because they would have made a lot more... several bad investments and decisions later by fo and ps and here we all are...

Blah, blah, blah, blah! Look at the results of the recent sales force survey and y'all are in a small minority of crybabies. Grow up and be a productive citizen. Y'all must have mommy abandonment issues. Good Selling!
