The PAIN has ENDed

I have a hard time listening to some of my fellow temp friends when they say how surprised or upset they are that they got axed. We are all temps waiting to be axed. That is the mindset you should have. It's contract work. It doesn't get any more temporary than that. Each day i am here is one day closer to getting axed. That is what a temp worker lives with.

A cso with a reality check. Once you take a contract job you have just accepted that your career opportunities have ended. You dug a hole that you will never come out of. It is a choice some make, and others choose a career with big money and big rewards. It is true not everyone can get the good jobs and that's why there are cso's.

It is what it is, better then unemployment. Pharma they way it once was in gone. Unless you are very specialized or have injectable experience the opportunities outside CSO are very limited. I wouldn't say taking a CSO job causes limits. There are so many out of work pharma reps companies can be very specific as to who they want. On a side note, getting out of the industry is the best option. A friend of mine began working for Liberty Mutual 3 years ago and is now making over 100K. Insurance sales suck but it's never going away as everyone needs insurance.

This is so true. The beginning of the end. CSO
