The Masters - A career buster for T-Dub?

This one is sink or swim for The Dubber.

I see in the very early part of Round 1 T-Dub is 12 back @ -1.

All I can say is that he'd better pull a win out of his ass here or he'll be the laughing stock of the golf world, especially if he finishes outside the top 20.

I wonder of his ex-old lady put some kind of hex on him or something?

For the last 15 months he's looked like a big steaming pile. As some point you just call it a slump anymore.

At some point you have to redefine the T-Dubber and call him exactly what he is: A very mediocre, average golfer.

Jack Nicholas and Arnold Palmer have stopped looking over their shoulders. That's for damned sure. ;)

Your manlove for T-Dub is becoming an obsession.

Well, after the 1st round T-Dubby is 23 back @ -1.

This is not good.

In prior recent tournies T-Dubby stays with the pack through the 1st round and then fades like an old filly. I think the media is tired of making excuses for him. Sooner or later the man has to produce. Time to crap or get off the pot.

That Rory Mcllroy is remarkable, isnt' he??? 21 year old kid from Ireland I believe. He's the leader and is ranked 9th in the world. He's replacing T-Dubby as the media's sweetheart. Seems like a real nice kid too. I saw him interviewed yesterday. Real down to earth. No pluff and glitter. What you see is what you get. A refreshing change. I hope he wins.

Well, the dubber hasn't flubbed it yet. So far today (thru 11 holes) he's 2 under for the 2nd round so far and 3 under for the Masters - putting him tied for 16th.

But he's not the guy anymore that people used to look over their shoulders at in fear. Most probably laugh at him now and expect him to cave.

Meantime, Rory Mcllroy is now 10 UNDER for the masters and 3 under for the round. He's on a roll and will be hard to catch. Pretty impressive for a 21 year old kid. Looks like he will take dubber off the front page and the crowds will now start to follow Rory around the course. I heard there's no love lost between Rory and the dubber either. The dubber had his day in the sun and he muffed it. We have a changing of the guard now. No hard feelings, dubber. Too bad - so sad, dubber. Just make an appointment with one of your girls. That will make it all better! :D

Holy shit!

The dubber caught fire after mid 2nd round and shot a 6 under 66 putting him 7 under for the tourney @ #3 and only 3 shots behind the Leader - Rory.

Damn. Does this mean old dubber is back? Not so fast, folks. I think he still chokes somewhere in the last 2 rounds and drops back to near 20th place. I just don't think he has the mojo to play consistently good golf. He's had hot streaks before too and faded down the stretch. I wanna see Rory take home the Master's jacket. That kid looks unflappable. I bet he can keep his pecker in his pants when he needs to too. Looks like a real wholesome kid. I hope he wins the entire enchilada.

I don't wish bad things for the dubber. But the way he conducted his life off the course left a real bad taste in my mouth. Call me a prude. I don't give a shit. I cherish the old days when a man looked you square in the eye and didn't sell ya a bill of goods. You could take him for his word. I know those days are gone. I'm not naive. But doesn't mean I can't miss the old days!!!

Update:

The dubber is thru 10 - 3rd round 1 over for a total score of 6 under tied for 8th place.

In the old days after a wildfire day like he had in Round 2 yesterday he would be in the lead right now. He's lost his mojo. No way in hades he wins this thing. In my opinion he will only fall backwards.

Rory is still in the lead thru 9. Even for the day total score 10 under.

Keep pluggin' away, Rory! You'll be the next golf sensation. The dubber will start dissing you. Count on it! ;)

Yep.

The dubber is fading fast. Shot 2 over 74 in the 3rd round for a total score of -5. Tied for 9th. Rory is -12 for the Masters in #1 place. The dubber is 7 back. He's done.

One more round. Do or die. Looks like dubber won't be trying on the Green Master's jacket anytime soon.

The Tiger is no longer on the prowl. It all ended after he crashed his ride into that Florida tree a couple Novembers ago. That's when karma bit him on the ass.

His ex-old lady must be estatic as long as the support gravy keeps rolling in.

I have a feeling dubber will be standing before the judge after the season ends asking for a downward adjustment in the support obligation.

Life is messy shit.

I don't wish the man ill. If he dropped the arrogant attitude and found Bhudda I would like to see him rebound. I truly would.

I just don't like rich athletes to lie to their fans about their devotion to their families and pristine character to get richer when we find out they got 14 hoes on a string.

That shit left a real bad taste in my mouth.

And I haven't noted change one in his attitude.

Oh. Ok. Hmmm.

Dubber mounts a comeback in the 4th and final round. Has advanced to #3 with a 3 under in the early part of the round through 7. Total score: -8.

Rory is one over through 3. Total score -11. Still in the lead.

So dubber is 3 back from being tied for the lead.

My guess??? Dubber chokes. He will NEVER win this Masters.

But Rory is just a young 21 year old kid. Will he have the clearness of mind and nerves of steel to stay solid? We are about to find out. I sure hope he pulls it out.

Everybody loves a loser who makes a comeback except for me. Based on what he did - dubber will ALWAYS be a loser in my mind. Always mean FOREVER!

Sorry. That's my take. ;)

Man alive! What a wild final day at the Masters!

The dubber actually made a gallant comeback much to my surprise. That goes to his credit. Shot 5 under 67 w/ total score -10 and tied for 4th. He folded toward the end. At one point he was actually tied for the lead! A bogey or two did him in. But we saw a glimpse of the old dubber. He just wasn't able to finish.

Rory totally choked. I mean BIG TIME! Poor kid. Led for three straight days and then caved on the last. Shot a 8 over for the day!!! Pure shit. The pressure got to the poor kid and he ended up tied for 15th. Oh well. He's young. He'll recover.

A South African won it. Schwartzel is his name. He was always in the running and was able to keep his composure. I think he ended up -14 for the Masters. He'll go home with the green jacket.

Well. I hope you enjoyed my commentary and musings. If not - that's your problem - not mine. I will continue to follow the dubber and let you know what he's up to next. I'm kind of curious who his current squeeze(s) is (are). Haven't seen anything in the Enquirer lately. I wonder if he is still getting counseled for his sexual addiction. Maybe that's what his current squeeze is. A sexual therapist. Who the hell knows???? :D

In the meantime - don't give any nigerians any upfront payments for a stake in the latest mega lotto winnings!!!
