Every night he goes to bed, he laughs at you. He laughs at how, despite how each year he takes more and more away from you, yet you keep coming back He takes your health beneS. He charges you for a co car. The pay is below industry standards. You must be babysat with all the reporting. you have made Dave King a wealthy man by giving away every ounce of your own dignity and self worth. You are the people that labcorp depends upon- scared, fearful, followers. stuck and incapable of any leadership. When one of you leaves or gets Rif'd, next cog gets in line. A beat is not missed. Every night he laughs at you and I do too!

The only King you work for is the Burger King.

LabCorp is merely a good example of what capitalism has morphed too. The "chief" level and executive vp level get very nice paychecks as well as huge stock option awards each year. These 10 or so people guide the company in a a way that enhances their personal financial well being. A better model would be one where options are provided to all employees. Even if it is only 5 shares a year, they then have an owners mentality and can participate in the company's success.

Henry Ford was criticized for "overpaying" his employees. His response was that he wanted them to buy Ford cars.
