The Future of Eliquis

To the doomsayers about CV- BMS will never sell Eliquis as it is the future cash cow. There are very few Blockbusters these days. Being forecasted to be in the same category as Plavix and Lipitor Eliquis is destined to be a multi Billion dollar drug. Here's an article titled "Say Hello to 3 Existing and Upcoming Next-Generation Blockbuster Drugs" Eliquis is one of them. No company is going to pay the kind of future royalties that it would take and BMS is not going to walk away from a molecule from their own labs and the investment they have made. Pfizer would be foolish to buy it or BMS as they already stand to reap the profits from Eliquis sales growth and there are no tax benefits to them as they would have to repatriate the money required resulting in a huge tax bill to the IRS.

By Dec 2015, CV is gone. Bank on it.

Yea we know .. You've posted a hundred times already about this .. You must be on the executive team working on the deal as we speak

And NSS was staying, and the diabetes franchise with TWO NEW DRUGS was staying. Get your head out of your ass, it's about Lamberto's IC over the next few years NOT long term profitability. That will be the next CEOs problem.

This is all sour grapes and resentment. I know who you are and you need to quit making such a fool of yourself. You are only making your situation worse. Truth is you don't know the truth or have any behind the scenes knowledge.

-One of the "little guy's" behind the scenes.

Your lack of ability to converse intelligently combined with your constant need to anonymously place yourself as superior to others creates an easy to spot profile of a narcissistic egomaniac driven with a underlying sense of inferiority that he is always trying to compensate for. You also lack the judgment and ability to restrain your anger when you are exposed. You have a lot of sour grapes in your history and fit one person's profile very well.

Will be in touch with you soon.

Stop posting things about Lamberto, he is our leader!

OK Genius it's time for you to shut up for a second and listen. Let me explain to you :

The currently contemplated structure under a new UK-incorporated holding company wouldn’t subject AstraZeneca’s non-U.S. profits to U.S. tax. The U.S. has a corporate tax rate rate of 35%, compared to 21% in the U.K, where the corporation tax rate will decline to 20% in 2015. Additonally Pfizer had $69 billion in untaxed cash overseas as of March. For 2013, Pfizer disclosed in its filings an effective rate of 27.5% and paid a global income tax of $2.87 billion. the U.K. has a territorial tax system where little money or profits that they repatriate back, little or no taxes are paid on profits that are generated overseas and repatriated back to the the country. The UK also has a permanent R&D tax credit, and Pfizer expects to benefit from the British Patent Box incentive, which was introduced in April 2013 and which will be fully phased in by April 2017. The incentive encourages research and development in the UK by providing a special 10% tax rate on profits generated from patents.

It doesn't take a math genius to see that Pfizer has no advantage buying BMS. Perhaps even you can see this.

Eliquis will be sold 100% to Pfizer by Dec 2015.

It's funny to watch you wish for the best! It's not all about taxes. I don't understand how you as an educated person not get that Pfizer has every reason to buy you and for BMS to sell you.
It's pure greatness to watch you hang on to that hope!

You have been posting your sky is falling message too long and no one wants to hear from you anymore.
Don't go away mad.. just go away!

Listen it does make me a shit if CV gets sold because I am in a another divsion but if you think for one minute you can't and won't be sold you are a full blown dumb ass. The Pfizer thing could effect us all but to think your safe because of the tax thing with AZ would be crazy. When investors start talking about it then you can bet it's been or will be on the table. For this fool to say that they are posting sky is falling comments is a fucking idiot.
