The fate of I&I will be determined next week. Derm? Xeljanz? Who will be effected and who will be untouched? I’m guessing more Xeljanz then Derm. Simply based on pipeline.

Who believes this is the last layoff and who believes this is step one of getting rid of most of the outside sales reps? I feel like it could be massive, with how secretive they've been. And the fact that everyone is like, never seen anything like this before (it's transformational!) while not elaborating to the common folks in the field what the hell that means. Can't believe this company is literally drowning in profits and cutting jobs at the same time. And they wonder why people aren't loyal to the company anymore...

Heard it is going to be more then we expected. New model coming. All digital

What will the process be? Are managers calling reps first thing in the morning based on if you have a job or not?

No territory overlap, 65-75% cut coming. Focus on digital and technology- traditional, face-to-face reps are on a time clock regardless.

Pfizer pharma reps will work for digital call center, NOT the other way around. Will not be the last layoff, territories will continually be reevaluated.

No one knows what’s going to happen. Probably a 20 to 30% cut. And they’re going to need people to handover inquiries to SMEs. And unless the call center has the HCP’s cell number… Don’t see them getting on any virtual calls anytime soon.

Big cuts coming across the entire sales force, other than rare disease. Quote from upper management is, “our sales force hasn’t worked in 2 years, any message we can project virtually is better than before”.

Don’t shoot the messenger. I disagree with their mentality and think it’s terrible.

The majority of Drs aren’t getting on virtual now, let alone with some random stranger calling. This model will flop, and then they’ll have to add face to face reps. But the damage will be done.
