So as some of you have heard, managers will discover their fate on Tuesday. Reps will find out after that. It will be a shake down. Business as usual until then. Make sure everyone does their expense report by Monday night. Realignments new managers don't take effect until April, but this place will be a zoo. Promise you this, those who stay will wish they were let go with all the chaos that will follow.
 






Most of us have seen the regional maps already....get it done and quit hiding behind the cloak of secrecy.....let us move on so we can take care of our family...is this how you would like to be treated?
 
























I think the Midwest should be safe, we have some amazing RD's and DM's looking out for us.... especially in Chicago. They have always put the reps needs before their own and you would not believe the amazing loyalty the reps have to management and this company out here, we are truly blessed.

If you haven't figured this out by now, the DM's and RD's aren't the ones deciding who stays and who goes. Stop putting your faith in people that have no power over this. An OUTSIDE firm was hired to put the realignments in place and cut the fat. Terms like amazing and loyalty mean nothing during downsizing - think MONEY, COST, ACCESS, ROI.

Really quiet today. For all those who have been jawing about this layoff, you seem to be scared yourself. Where are all the "witty" comments and condesending statements about your co workers and those not in the pharma world?

I totally agree. I am more loyal than the management than they are to their reps. If a certain RD were drowning in acid, while someone was vigorously rubbing sand paper on his lips as leeches chomped his eyes out I would do what any loyal MW rep would do: add more leeches! You would do that, right? Help the guy out, right? Be assertive when you help him, right? Because the MW management is loyal, right? They love their reps and have their best interests at heart, right? Right? Right....
 






Midwest Rep here: Is it just me, or does our Region total suck? I would say get rid of management. Start with Chicago-none of them have a clue. Does home office not see or care what is going on?
