it used to be that the good ones were there for the long haul- 10, 15+ years. I don't think this is the case anymore. Looks like the young & new ones are buying the story of upward mobility.

Poor leadership is a big factor....does anyone think the current leadership is better than say five or ten years back? It's not going in the right direction.

No, it is absolutely worse than 15 years ago (Ken Freeman was CEO), but probably a bit better than 5-10 years ago (when Surya was CEO). The company is too top heavy now, too much of the income is eaten by over inflated salaries and bonus' to upper management while 60% of the company earns just above the national poverty level. Most sales reps are a joke, double dipping with other diagnostic companies because they can't make bonus here. They continue to promote idiots only because they kiss ass, and I hear another gender-biased class action law suit is under way. The motto "better health through diagnostic insights" is a joke when half of the people who work here have terrible health due to excessive stress. For a healthcare company, the benefits are ridiculous. They make you participate in an internal testing program for benefit discounts only to sell your information to others.
Having been here for 20+ years, I've seen it fall since Freeman left. But, I do my job efficiently and lay low, and enjoy the TOP time I've accumulated which is about the only thing that keeps me here.

Business and relationships are cultivated through the front lines of our organization. Not the top heavy upper management team.

Truly a company of the haves and the have nots. The 1% is alive and thriving here. Excessive compensation at top levels without much trickle down. Vast majority of employees in the labs and and in the field living week to week.
