the dumbing-down of IS....

Did you text books did you hand out today?
How many speaker programs do you have scheduled?
How many confirmed patient starts did you get today (25 FRXcellent points to the person who gets the most!!)
Did you send in your activity updates on your Turdorza activity?
I could go on and on......

ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS?
It's embarrassing - to the Company, to the Reps, and to the DM's who impliment these "monitoring tools." Every time a DM asks about this stuff they demonsrate they don't have the balls to tell their RD "THIS ISN'T RETAIL - I'm not bothering my team with this worthless activity-related monitoring BS."

Note to Forest Management: You want to monitor IS performance, look at the damn sales numbers. They are the only numbers that matter. Nothing else is important. Every hospital is different and requires a different approach. Forest cookie-cutter top-down management tactics don't work in Hospital. Looking at any activity other than actual sales performance else is nothing more than retail-driven managerial masterbation.

Don't you get it??? If not, kindly return to retail. Am I the only one who feels this way?????

Do you have to send dummy scripts to your manager every week, like I do? Very embarrassing, don't even know how many FRX points we get for it or if this is another job expectation.

Nothing makes me laugh more than someone ranting about how stupid someone is, or how someone doesn't get it and then misspell an easy word. It's masturbation, not "masterbation." You should know, you have only been doing it for the last 20+ years.

nothing makes me laugh more then when someone fails to acknowledge the point of a message because their anal personality has them caught up on a typo or spelling mistake. You would make a good DM - you are more interested in process (spelling, typing) than the outcome (in this case, the content of the message....)

I am with you brother/sister! Spelling mistakes aside I agree 100% with everything you stated. I do not believe that Forest will ever get it. Problem is that those that do know and speak the truth are quickly diminished as being negative or making excuses. All you can do is sell the way you feel is right and get really good at creative writing!!

No kidding. It's a freakin message board, not blasted english class. Bring something of substance. I have a buddy who actually is an english teacher. If I want a sentence diagramed I will ask. Now back to the point-

Let us not forget how important our PC and Specialty counterparts are to our success.

Going to pod meeting to make sure that we are on the same page is a huge waste of time for everyone. No one in IS cares about the 15% Daliresp and 15% Tudorza weighting, especially when we are all in the crosshairs for not getting enought Teflaro dots each week.

Yea,..... COPD line call .....start Dalicrap and Turd-oza in hospital, not acute care drugs... FAIL.

You're dead on! I couldn't agree with you more. This is what you get when you have retail management running the show. This mgmt sucks! The IS comp plan sucks! The retarded Doctor commitment for patient starts I have to email my boss each week sucks! I hate this place.

Ask around. They are a lot of good managers who don't act this way in the hospital sales force. I have friends who like their job a lot....the retail goes away eventually....just hang in there

Who do you think you are? Alfred Eintein? I don't care what class your friend teaches, you loser!

Haha! It makes me feel so good to read about how crappy life is at Forest! Sounds like they treat like B2B sales reps who are fresh out of college! I actually interviewed with Forest and didn't get the job. I did get the job with another Pharma company and absolutely love my life and job! Never hear from my boss and I make 150k! Get out boys and girls, there are better gigs out there I promise! And yes, I do troll other Pharma boards from time to time, when I am bored on a Sunday afternoon

I think I am someone who can follow a point, not worry that someone didn't run the spell check. You must be one of the anal DMs who have nothing better to do, just worry about insignificant things like this, hence the point of the thread. 'Loser' :)
