The Dominator is GONE

Dominic LaSelva will be "seeking other opportunities." Just one example of the type of moves we'll be seeing. Out of the blue. Unexpected. Solid. Long-timer. "We're going to consolidate these positions." If you think this is a one-off, think again. There are more of these in the works. You don't go grey at JNJ.

It's interesting when you think of the implications
For the hospital division. DS has always been committed
To the hospital buisness and now in the last few months
Hospital reps are now cv reps with addl responsibility of hospital
Accounts. I guess the strategic view of the hospital channel
Has changed to a marketing focus of the overall buisness. The question
Is does the ever changing marketing position
At Janssen have what it takes to compete with the marketing
Giants at Pfizer...time will tell. With the favor of the FDA and a
Superiority label with a bleeding hoax that boasts the safety of aspirin Janssen reps
Will be tested and In the meantime we will all be under
A very different microscope...one with a "hard candy shell"

A great leader is gone. Calvin put a very weak leader in place with Patty Torr.

Have any of you been paying attention to the culture in this organization?

You can't "cram" 2 days of low value "conference call" content into 5 full days, then say "Let me know if something is getting in the way of your selling in the field"

Brilliant Strategic mind, but lacking in people skills and self awareness.

Change is a good thing

Not sure who this person is but there's a tenured JnJ person named Paris Pellham joining senior leadership. Not sure what's up but i hear his/her reputation precedes him. Anyone know anything?

His posse must be nervous some have been around as long as he has and were protected.

Dom was a solid guy....not the most charismatic but got things done! He had a moral compass and always strived to make things right after mistakes were made. He stepped in and led Hospital div at a low and turned things around. I will be praying for this guy and his family through his new journey.

Agreed.

An old colleague (and I'm sure others) praying for you and your family Dominic.
