Seriously, this is spot on. He just rambled and looked like he was reading someone else’s slides.

Something just seems off with this guy. He looks panicked. I hear he doesn’t want anyone challenging him and thus he just got rid of everyone who knew what was going on.

Any time Halit is involved in delivering a message you may as well play solitaire on your phone until it’s over. The agony of watching her stumble through slides and attempt to public speak is painful and useless. The call was useless in general. They should have just cancelled the NSM, got all this restructuring figured out and tried to figure out all the cultural damage first. Taking people to a NSM, in Orlando none the less, after everyone feels shredded and confused is a recipe for disaster. Very poor leadership. Lousy delivery. Sustainable and irreparable damage to culture.

He did say on his introductory call that the
Old Astellas Culture is gone. I can’t imagine what team building he’s planning for NSM…….
