The Big Reorg -- ISTA will come out on top

If you are in Pharma better generate a backup plan. A big Reorg is coming and job duplication in the Pharma business is about to be eliminated. ISTA will rule the day in the end. Better management, better sales reps, consistent performance, and sunny happy weather in California will put ISTA ahead of the B&L slackers in the end.

Yeah ok, shut up. Because we all know you don't know shit!

B+L did not buy ISTA just for two drug products. They bought ISTA in order to show wall street that they have transformed B+L into a totally new Pharma company. The only way to convince wall street that B+L is a new mean and lean Pharma company is to take the best of ISTA and incorporate it into the Pharma organization.

This transformation has to be convincing and obvious. OLD looking B+L pharma has to die. New VISTA/B+L must look different and efficient. Moving facilites people and taking the best that the two companies has to offer and truly combining them into one is the only way to go.

This change could be extremely dramatic and may not go the way most at B+L think it will go. More of the same is not an option anymore.

Use your brain, will there be some people let go through all this, yes. But they gave us an extra bump in the comp plan through Q3...They are not going to fire us all and bring on new people. Ista missed their goals big time last year.

I think the key here is bringing the best of the two organizations together and discarding the dead weight. If you are a top performer you are OK.

There will be a new look to this organization. Plan on a new logo, company colors, and strategy.

What is all this talk about Ista having this incredible sales force? They horribly missed their sales goals last year and I think their turnover has been over 50% the last couple years. They have an inexperienced sales force and it does not hit its goals.

The goal was to hit enough sales so that someone would buy the company. ISTA achieved their target as the company was sold to B+L. B+L has the same goal. However, B+L has not been able to achieve enough sales to sell the company.

What? Their wall street number was not hit. The goal was also to sell much higher than $9/share. You just make shit up.
