Personally I despise pro baseball. And although I'll probably watch a couple NBA playoff games I don't really like watching the long legged genetic misfits so much.

I love college football - college basketball - NFL.

All the rest sucks ass IMO.

I don't even get a rise out of watching the Olympics any more.

April-September certainly does suck for sports. Folks who follow niche sports like NHL might enjoy some of this time. The NBA is deplorable. The MLB should go back to their players shooting steroids (Sammy Sousa, Mark McGuire). MLB is much more interesting when the players are juiced up. Just watch a MLB game. At just about every game except the major teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs-maybe Phillies) most parks are empty. Baseball is definitely not the American past-time. Way to many games are played and I think the season should end before College Football and NFL begins. Nascar is totally boring. The caution flags and restrictor plates have ruined it.

Fucktard, I made it through the storms yesterday and fortunately none of my friends or family were affected. The power is finally back on in most of the Greater Birmingham area.Tuscaloosa was decimated but Bryant-Denny Stadium and The University of Alabama was spared. We never get these kind of tornadoes which is why it is so catastrophic. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Over 150 were killed here in Alabama and it is a horrible tragedy.

Close to 200 people lost their lives in Alabama due to the Torandoes and you want to fucking joke about it? Are you really that fucking sick? I hope to hell that no major natural disaster hits your area of the country. This was an uncontrollable natural disaster.

We Alabamians have suffered through Hurricanes, Oil Spills and Tornadoes. Nothing that dead racists like George Wallace did or the KKK caused any of this. George Wallace and the other dead racists are rotting in hell and we the good people of Alabama AKA: the younger generations are creating our own new Alabama and a new South.

I take shit seriously like 249 innocent people losing their lives from a natural disaster. Thank you for correcting me on Karmaic Law but I really don't think that anything past or present is the cause of this natural disaster. What did cause this natural disaster is cold air from the north pushing down through the South East and mixing with warm humid air from the Gulf Of Mexico.

Racists like George Wallace "Standing In The School House Door," or other dead racists and their past actions have nothing to do with this. Natural Disasters do not discriminate. Men, Women, Children, Black, White, Latino, Straight and Gay lost their lives due to these storms. If these storms had anything to do with Karma don't you think they would have just killed either current living white supremicists or their decedents?

If Alabama and other Southern States were such a horrible place why are so many people moving here? The recent US census shows that the South and West were the two areas of the country that had higher population growth in the past 10 years than any other regions of the country.

I take all of this seriously because I live here. If you lived here and saw the devastation for yourself you would know this is not a time to theorize about why these storms happened. Theorizing about why this happened is not constructive but helping those affected is. I am not going to let my pride get in the way to ask you to help my neighbors and friends affected by this catastrophe. Please do what you can to help no matter what you think about me or anyone else from the Great State of Alabama.
