Sell over 300,000 for the quarter and make 4000 in bonus. .20 cents a vial. Great comp plan!!!!! It is an insult and a slap in the face!!

We all agree and thats why many of us will be quitting. I'm so mad at these leaders. The CEO walks away with millions and the rest don't give a crap about us or what is fair. Only advice I can give is to start looking now because its only going to get worse. This place sucks now and we get rewarding with this crap bonus for all our hard work?
 


















I understand you are upset but did you grow your business this qtr? I imagine you did not to get to 5k and I am not putting you down as most did not grow. I don't know any job that pays a big bonus if you sold less this current qtr from previous. I will agree that the potential bonus fluctuates more here then at other places. A positive and a negative.

To the other poster $300,000 is not great for a qtr. It is here but most places would not pay you the package you have now to bring in 1.2 million a year.

If you grow just 5 cases a week this qtr that is 5.2k plus your 4 k base plus 2.3 k kicker(25%) plus maybe 2.8k in rank bonus(finish 40) for a total q 2 of 14.3k. Not bad

Still not happy? Call Washington and maybe via executive order he can declare Obamabonuscare for everyone. Alright maybe not the illegals. Screw it them too.

That's not a valid or fair statement anymore. Territories are fighting just to maintain the business they have. It has been a constant battle. There is value to that kind of work given this medication and the challenges territories face. If you have a territory that has a high market share and volume and you have contributed tremendously to the company numbers, 5k is ridiculous. No expects a huge bonus, but they do expect a nice bonus considering the current climate. Most territories did not grow because they are now feeling the wrath of pharmacies and their budgets.

You sound like a typical big pharma robot! I know we get paid to grow our business manager Bob but it takes a lot of hard work to maintain your business. If you have a large volume it takes a lot of work and time to get through those base vials. Pharmacy is doing everything they can to stop you. I'm just saying they should pay more for base vials. It's not a guarantee that your business will keep coming and all you have to do is look for new customers. Eventually the growth slows down. It's a piece of crap plan. The extra 25% is great if you don't quit. They did it because they know people don't want to work for Mallinckrodt. Why else make you wait till February of next year. Don't sell me on a 401k plan! Most every company in Pharma or device has one. Give me a break. 20 cents a vial sucks. Good luck! When your team leaves you, you can replace them with primary care reps! Oh and one peer program and one speaker program in the sexing quarter!!!!!! Wow!!! My business is going to sky rocket with all those resources !!! I have never made less in bonus than what I have made here! C ya!!
 


















Profit center? Now I know you are proud of your sales and I am too but to say 1.2 million is a million dollar profit center is inaccurate.
You are not a profit center just because you sell more then what you cost the company. That is not how that works.
Cadence spends about 140 million a year. Each territory would need to avg approx. 1.1million(1/130) a year in sales for the company to break even. Based on your 1.2 million in sales your territory responsibility to that 140 million makes the company under $100,000 in profit or you are wrong to the tune of $900,000 in that year.
Your territory does turn a profit but under a 10% return.

To the person and the big pharma robot response. Did you have a meltdown or something. So you had a bad qtr big deal. If you think you cant grow then leaving is your best option. Mallincrodt didnt drop 1.4 billion so we can show no movement in sales. Not sure why your reference the 401k. Who would suggest or entertain that a 401k plan is a pivotal point to joining a company.
