Thank You

To the upper management at Strativa, thank you for the lay off and thank you for the push to get a real job and thank you for some severance. The past two weeks have been the best in the past number of years since working at Strativa. I have a life and do not live in fear every day that I did not have a signature by 9:30 AM even though I would be in the office at 8:00 AM.

Best of luck to you still retained but realize that there is a beautiful world outside of the small Strativa box.

Thank you for a surprisingly different meeting in Dallas. Thank you for trying to motivate. Thank you for tomorrow off. Thanks for focusing on quality of calls vs quantity from Here on out. If you mean what you said and are consistent months from now, I truly thank you. I have written more than my share of negative things over the last 6 months, so prove to me it will be different. Fingers crossed.

Please, Dallas was the same ole shit they have been saying for years. Just like when they did away with sigs and then brought them back. The leaf will turn quickly again I'm sure. This place never changes....they just promise change only to go back to their shady, shit for brain ways a month or two later. Give it time, they will prove themselves.

WOW! Either you haven't been with the company long enough or this is someone from management. Hilarious! So you like being promised bonus dollars and trips to Paris only to have it not paid out. That is motivation. Motivating me to continue looking for a different job.

Worth giving it a shot. And didnt they say they are paying cash in lieu of trips and looking to revise bonus payout for Q2?

Poster #2 here. Just tired of being negative and willing to give it one more shot. I don't begrudge anyone for not buying in, but if you really can't turn your attitude around, it's probably best to find a new job. It's not better elsewhere, just ask all the Merck reps who are about to be let go. Like I said, upper mgmt still has to prove this is a long term change, but count me in as being hopeful it's true.

I agree. Time to look forward with a positive attitude. There is no sense in complaining about what you cannot control. If people cant get over the past then they are better off, as well as the company, looking elsewhere. But it is not going to be different anywhere else in this industry.

Give me a break. The FDA will hammer them. They should be in 60 minutes for an investigation. People would be amazed. Why didn't they see the light before when everyone was complaining. RP?

Left over a year ago and life is SSSSOOOO good. Any company is better than Strativa. Dont listen to the motto it is worse other places.... That is just not true. It is so much better for you and your family/life somewhere else. Even the ones that got laid off are much happier and better off.

Be careful giving details like "the past number of years." That would mean that you were at Strativa over 2 years narrowing you down to about 3 people. I agree with what you are saying though, to put it nicely, this company is a pile of shit and management from the RD level up are simply trash.

How could that be? The company stated that they determined the layoffs based on tenure and then sales numbers. There were some tenured people with good sales numbers?

Are you saying that Strative picked who they wanted to lay off based on different reasons?

If they did not have a consistant rational and only picked people they liked or thought would give no resistance, than that would be illegal.........

Are you really asking this?

Good people who consistently had good numbers were let go. Some of them tenured. The whole "determination based on tenure and sales numbers" is total BS.

From a motivation standpoint, it makes sense for them to tell those retained that they are all the best and brightest, but get real. There were reps who were just out of training that were kept and tenured reps who have made a lot of money for Strativa/Par that were let go.

They cut people making the most in base pay!!!! I made a lot and now they are getting newbies paying them dirt. They cut people who performed making good money and people who didn't. GET OUT!

They also kept a large number of people hired in 05 and 06 that have very high base salaries. 6 figures. Your argument is null and void.
