Thank you for kicking my "arse" out da door, otherwise I may have never left this sinking shi* hole of a company.
Just got a great job with Merck for more money with a realistic I/C payout potential.
If not for the layoff, I might still be stuck selling Mo and Savacrap.
To those contemplating what to do, there are opportunities for good sales reps in this industry across the country. I live in a very small market and I have had many opportunities from which to pick and choose.
And I will close with this: DSI has many experienced, energetic, and great sales reps, and having worked for DSI is a positive and not a negative. Our reps are still considered to be among the best in the industry. (can't say the same for management). There is life after DSI.
