They say don't worry about it because they have no freakin' CLUE how well it's doing! How do I know this? Well, it's because Testopel is NOT tracked so NO ONE can purchase usage history, etc like all of us see in this market with the gels! I absolutely LOVE hearing shit like "don't worry about it" - they are saying that because they have ZERO information either way! Sweet dreams...

Your doctor is referring to the product insert as it reads: no side effect! What is he suppose to say, you will have breast enlargement (instead of your junk), prostate hypertrophy (can't pee or pee very slowly), constipation (i.e colorful colon polyps and obstructive colonitis), muscular hypertrophy (muscle aches)...so ya, your doctor is telling you the correct prescription. Ask doctor if he or her husband would take it?

Not that invasive...about 8 minutes for the entire procedure. Ask yourself, would you enjoy putting on a gel everyday for the rest of your life or get 3 to 4 quick in office procedures per year because the therapy will last 3 to 6 months. Plus a bonus, doc gets reimbursed for it.

The market shows that most people and physicians utilize a gel. Applying it daily is a non-issue for majority of people.

For the patient whose gel doesn't work, a few options:

a. try a different gel (there are currently four on the market and use one of the companies coupons to lessen the cost to you), this remains one of the most convenient ways to normalize testosterone.
b. if you try injections, and it works, learn to self inject so the cost to you is diminished and you won't have to travel to your physician office every other week, which is time-consuming.
c. ask your doc about other off-label agents which might increase your testosterone, like clomid or an aromatase inhibitors...tread lightly here though, the strong data for raising testosterone is for those drugs approved for this condition.
