Wise words from attorneys. Tape the call for your records ... just in case they slip.
also- DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL!

Let it go to VM. Listen to the VM. You will have an idea of what your situation is so at least when you call back you have more control to ask questions instead of being "surprised"!

Please - Ask questions! Do not be intimidated!

They will try and bully you on the "read from a script" call.

Hope this helps!!!!

Nice!

Right. Because you could afford an attorney that could take down the pockets of Shire.

Not trying to take down the pockets buddy. However, if you've been paying attention, Shire hires mostly dumb asses at corporate and HR. If there is a slip up, I'll try to get some extra cash. Shire needs to be held accountable for their stupidity instead of making us accountable.

Seriously, do you think they will leave a message that incriminates themselves? As for recording the conversation, check you state laws. In some states it is illegal to tape or record someone with out their approval and thereforevcan not be used in court.

Suing a corporation for being laid off will not go far... The bar is too high and you will just waste your money and time.

Thanks Judge Judy. Now go bake some cookies and knit a quilt!
