Taleo Status?

Wondering if anyone knows about Taleo statuses on job applications? I applied for a job with Abbvie on the Allergan side. Had screening, HM interview, and panel interview. The panel couldn’t have gone better! I was feeling great. Then I check the next day and my application in Taleo says “no longer under consideration” and position says “closed/not accepting applicants.” So I know that probably means it’s a no for me, but I haven’t heard anything from HR either way. Is this normal? How accurate are the Taleo statuses? Any help is appreciated. I hate not knowing either way.
 






It could be a number of reasons, maybe they offered the position to someone else, had to change the grading (which usually means people need to reapply even if they were already offered the position, for formality), lost funding and need to cancel, etc. You should reach out to the recruiter if you haven't heard anything yet because you typically get at least an automated email saying you didn't get the job.

Thank you! I will reach out. Since I didnt get the automated rejection email, I have a glimmer of hope still, even if it’s a long shot.
