Takes soo long to hire

Why does Rotech have to take so long to fill a vacancy?
I understand that management thinks they have to post an opening for awhile internally and then to complete background checks and physicals, but that does little to help me here at my location.
I'm tired of wearing two shoes at once around here. And as much as I like work boots, mine are getting worn out.

it takes so damn long because those that control the hiring process don't have to worry about running an office. they just fill a slot and move on to the next issue, if you will. the locations are drowning and they just keep piling on, the middle mgmt is a joke.

They save money by letting the rest of the staff cover the empty position. The patients suffer especially if you are short a PST. Everyone at the location level is stretched and stressed to the max.

Like the stars in the sky. I don't know if it's just my area or what but i really wish Rotech would make them sign a non compete clause with the amendment that they can't work anywhere for 2 years after leaving. That would solve our problems.

Are freakin kidding me a non compete for a PST? Your an ass! They can't even make a non compete stick with a sales rep think they can make it work with a piddely PST? Nobody wants to stay at Rotech and every body just runs away.

Patient care trumps all. It would be easy require/enforce non competes on pst's.
THEY have the option to sign onto that when accepting employment or take a hike.

All you need to do it threaten to go to the proper authorities with all the wrong doings and bingo your out of your non compete. Easy peasy!

There are no improprieties or you would be at fault for not reporting them in the first place.
Its in the ppm.

That's all that there is is improprieties. Who's eyes are you trying to pull the wool over? Why would I tell anyone about them? Keep them under your hat till you need to threaten someone with them or wait till your on the hot seat and you need a get out of jail free card. You must be one of the higher ups you pompose ass.

There are a very few locations that cannot seem to keep a pst. Usually, it is because these pst's (like most) are the lowest of the lowlifes who cannot gain employment elsewhere.
Because of this, take whatever they say on here with a grain of salt.
