Sadly a lot of talented synergy reps who launched bydureon and ranked in the top 10% of the nation were passed over for displaced neuro science BMS reps when the final selections were made. this sends a disheartening message to all members of the synergy team .
bms & az have set amylin up to fail.
 






Synergy rep here. I interviewed for an open BMS territory last Monday and I have not heard anything one way or another. Top performer in my district and region with excellent rankings, etc... I also believe that the majority of these positions will go to the displaced Abilify reps. BMS just gave us the courtesy of an interview and nothing more. No intentions of hiring us. What a shame as there are some top Synergy reps out there.

I have a great territory and a great boss and I'm just going to ride it out.

Poster #2 here. 4 top reps in my district each interviewed for 4 separate BMS spots and none got hired!!! The hiring manager said that "we wanted someone with more pharma experience." Really???? That's the best you can come up with???? Each rep had an average of 10 years of experience and were all top performers, had existing relationships in each territory and are already selling the products. 1 spot was filled by a recently laid off Abilify rep and the other spots were filled by OUTSIDE candidates. It sure shows what BMS thinks of us!!!

This has left a sour taste in my mouth and I am very happy staying on the contract with Ventiv and will ride this train until it stops.

I would be curious what % of these vacancies were filled with Synergy reps across the nation. Please post if you have any info.

wHy doesn't someone just ask for those stats?? You are entitled to them. Have some guts.
 






So based on Tuesday's conference call is sounds like there will be 3 sales forces - BMS, AZ & Legacy when the realignments are completed after Q1. Where does that leave Synergy? They talked about BMS wants bigger not smaller. I don't buy it. Forxiga won't be on the market until sometime in 2014 so they won't hold on to us to wait for a launch. There are already too many of us selling Bydureon and Onglyza. Can't even leave a sample in an office!!!!

Any way you slice it, I think we are all toast April 1st.

I agree with your timeline. If we were being considered beyond that timeframe, I believe we would have been rolled in by now. I don't see any signs that is going to happen.
