I'm posting for this, have done some limited research about the company. Looks like they are hiring 200-220 reps for the Plecanatide GI launch. Seeing the other 2 branded competition in the field each has about 1,500 reps carrying their drugs, Amitiza and Linzess; what gives? Is there a big pharma copromote or is this drug a dog?

Synergy remains an interesting biotech opportunity to me, but I think the company has a lot of work to do to reassure the Street that it can really compete on its own in the market and gain real share once its lead drug plecanatide hits the market. Without a large partner (Ironwood hasAllergan(NYSE:AGN) and Nektar (NASDAQ:NKTR) has AstraZeneca (NYSE:AZN) selling its OIC drug Movantik), I think a lot of investors fear that Synergy will never manage to break through and could find it in a situation like XenoPort did with its restless leg drug. I believe there are some key differences between those situations, though, and while I do worry that Synergy's plecanatide sales may ramp more slowly than its bullish analysts' forecast, I think these shares are worth more than $9 on the potential of plecanatide.

I have been waiting FOREVER to hear back. Supposed to be last Friday. Now it's this Friday. And this day is about done and nothing. I know people on East coast that interviewed same day and already have offers and doing their paperwork. I'm in the Texas so I don't know what's up

You haven't heard anything because Synergy has been sold and Shires already strong GI force will have have the product in their bag.

Was in original group in December.., took 7-10 days to hear back if that.helps
