suspension

What is this about?

If you dont know, it wont affect you and you probably wouldnt understand, but here goes. We are have discontinued the sale of lotemax suspension to wholesalers in preparation of generic suspension. The reason it is way too late is because B & L ( not Valeant) had us competing against our own drug. We only got paid for lotemax gel sales, but lotemax suspension was still on the market-and has outsold the gel. It has better managed care coverage as well. Now that a generic is coming available we will lose share/scripts to the generic- khope this does not prompt lay offs. It appears as if it will be affecting our bonus dollars as the quotas reflect sales with no generic competition-which we all know will be huge.

If there's is going to be a generic so soon, pulling it now won't really help. It's too late, should have done it a long time ago.

I think everyone is in agreement there. But, it is what pharma companies do. Over at allergan they are still making several formulations of alphagan and lumigan -same situations.

Its all about the benjamans...$$$
