Surgeon kickbacks

Sooo... how much are spine surgeons getting paid from these big companies?

Of all of the companies to bag on.. I don't think this is the one. They have a desperate need to have surgeons work on their implants and refine them, but Integra's "System" keeps them from signing any consulting deals with any surgeon. It will actually be their demise.
Because of this process, the engineers have way too much say in what is designed and how the final product turns out. Classic failure dating back to the Theken days when everything was based on an engineers perspective or sawbones based surgery.
