Supernus Stock Price is getting Killed

All of you taking jobs right now to go to Supernus just remember that the analysts do not think this company will succeed...the stock price has gone from $12 down to $7 ever since the new managers that Supernus raided from Shire have come over...And don't tell me that they did not take documents and hand pick their RD's because we know they did. Just because you used Victor Vaughn and Harry Painter does not mean you were not involved with a non-compete clause. Nick, Tailor, Jeremy, and Doug took documents (which we have proof of) and went down a list of people for Victor and Harry to contact. We will let our lawyers settle this one.

The reps that are getting hired by these employees need to tread lightly and look at going back to the careers that they had.

Its not because the company does not have good people but launching drugs in this current enviornment with old products does not work anymore. Epilepsy is a field where unless you are already a player in the market you will not get in because I used to sell over there. Also, you will not get States to pay for new drugs right now and Commerical Plans are also tightening up their belts so even if you are the best salesman you will not sell a thing in this environment without coverage.

The other reason is that the analysts say that they were cash strapped and were going to run out of cash by 2nd qtr of 2013 so they offered another stock option at $8 a share when the stock was going for $11-$12...stupid move Supernus...that is called stock dilution and that is why the stock price is going down...read the above thread

So if you are a rep interviewing or planning on going over there make sure you weigh the pros and cons because it may be a shore ride if they are already cash strapped
 






I am a new hire and this kind of stuff fires me up. I love it when people from the outside looking in say "it can't be done" or "you will fail". I have never understood why someone who is not working for supernus would care.
 






Yeah I know they got a hold of a list that had the reps at Shire who had been through the MAP program and TR, NS, DC, and JH went down through the list and told Harry and Victor who to go after...this happened to a ton of reps at Shire that I know that were approached...

We have documentation on this and there non-compete was not followed even though they went through Harry and Victor. Those guys have been out of the ball game for years and would have had no clue who to interview if it weren't for those 4 leaders who jumped ship and took a ton of documents.
 






Who cares what reps they took? They are all a bunch of tools anyways! Most of them come from a area where coverage was never a issue anyways! They will not know how to sell when there is not managed care coverage for them. If they didn't gave great coverage they were just some little robot that can't think for themselves and will do as they are told! Good good with these clowns ;)

Just read the writing on the wall "new hire". These robots mean well but they can't wipe their butt on their own if the don't ask permission. Have fun working for that and do some research and see what the analysts predict. They are right most of the time. And it does not look good if they already were going to be cash strapped by the end Q2 of 2013

13 out of the 16 came directly from Shire and the other 3 used to work for Shire at some point. So I will let you make the decision on how Victor and Harry who have been awayfrom Shire for years would have known these indiviuals who a lot of them were in Shires MAP program and wanted to become RD's. Wow! So the company is cash strapped and many have a lawsuit on their hands. They did not tell me any of this in the interview process. Is there anything else about this company that would be good to know. I just accepted a job this week but am nervous now if I should get my old job back. Please help!
 






They are robots, will micromanage the hell out of you, require you to memorize a 10 page script, and they literally will not wipe their own asses without their Zone Directors Approval. So just be ready for all of that
 






I would stay far far away!! These managers are horrible also!! What area are you going to be in? We can give you some insights on your manager. Your manager can make it break it for you in sales. There are a few that are ok.
 






From what I can gather by reading this stuff is that a bunch of folks that were in management development at Shire left to do their own thing at a new company and start a sales force. Now the people still at Shire are saying these people are a joke and will not succeed. Is that pretty much it? So why do you care then? Why spend the time and effort to trash them and what they are doing? It doesnt add up. If what you are saying is true no one would care. Sounds like a bunch of sour grapes from a few on CP.
As for the financing and stock scenario, it is exactly like many start ups. Financing a sales force before you have revenue costs money. Of course their is risk. There is also a huge upside. Not to the mention the opportunity to start something from scratch.
What is most interesting is you dont see any Supernus people bashing Shire here or on their page. Dont understand the hate. Bottom line is their is risk everywhere, just ask the 20% of the sales force Shire just laid off!
They have 4 drugs coming in the next 4-5 years. None have to be blockbusters for them to be successful. How many does Shire have?

They are facing a lot of challenges and some uncertainty (evidenced by the recent and future lay-offs) just like everyone in pharma. There are some great people there and all of us at Supernus wish them the best...dont know why they cant feel the same!?! Oh well. Merry Christmas.

There are a few managers that really suck over with you guys but Shire is pissed because NS, JH, TR, and DC stole some good people even after they signed a non-compete. That is why people are more pissed than ever. They told Victor and Harry who to steal and that is what happened. I just hope there won't be a lawsuit because there is clearly writing on the wall that they targeted people from Shire's MAP program.
 






We are trying to be honest and tell you what kind of people these managers are. Would you want to work for someone who got someone fired to look better? CS in Ohio got my manager fired to make himself look better! He will do the same to his reps as long as he looks good! Watch your back with this guy. Just saying......I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!

You again? You have posted the same thing 4-5 times already. Just b/c you anonymously post something over and over doesnt make it true. Get a hobby or something. You claim to be trying to look out for others but it is clear you have an ax to grind.
One more time for those in the cheap seats...AG was a terrible manager who cheated and lied until it caught up with her. I know one of her reps that turned her in after they were given a '2' rating on their performance review. Get over it. Go back to your own board and try to salvage something out of your spiteful career.

Of course you liked her, she never rode with you. You all loved the absentee RD until she didn't stick up for you at review time. Then you threw her to the HR wolves. And now you want to blame the guy who came in as the interim. That's why all you will ever be is a loser rep who hangs out on other company's websites and drools the same nonsense over and over about people who are more talented/driven than you.
