Sunshine Act - it`s all about compliance, girls and boys

I have no problems with the sunshine act and am already documenting according to the regulations. When the government fully institutes this policy later this year it will be easy to submit. For you folks at the big 3 that think we cannot or will not follow this program your dead wrong.
Biotronik already has the reporting process in place for all of it's reps...direct and independent.

The fact that you're having to write this means you're probably not following it and you surely can't speak for all of BIO. How will you and BIO survive by eliminating the only thing you had going for you?....."The open check book" is about to be closed and hanging on to doc's that you catered to will be history. How do you think BIO attracted Big 3 players?? When ADVAMED squeezed the Big 3 a number of rep's still wanted to chase the big $ by buying their business that only BIO could still do. Time has come...enjoy the next few months as I'm sure you and the rest of BIO will.....it will be nice to finally play on a level field. Tic Toc.

Your a moron and obviously have an axe to grind. We are following the Sunshine act and really like the fact that all companies will have to report how much they are spending on Physicians. The big 3 are going to have an awful lot of explaining to do...

Biotronik as a company is following the rules laid out in the Sunshine Act. The reps have been trained, instructed and warned appropriately. Will there be people that push the envelope? Yes. Will there be people within the 'Big-3' that push the envelope? Yes. I suggest you get off of your high horse. If you are hoping the Sunshine Act will give you a 'level field' to compete against the lowly old Biotronik... you suck. Man, I wish you worked in my area. It would make my job a little easier.

Officially, sure we do. Unofficially, we are greasing mds with "training cases", studies, consulting agreements, employing family members, independents with personal credit cards, sporting events concurrently.

Good luck reporting all that.

Remember comrades - educationally-appropriate training for staffers, no spouses, no gifting, only moderate dinners .... and this includes CF and the other independents who still stealthily fly UNDER the radar. And the card-referral programs + patient FUs that the reps perform while the implanting clinics submit for CMS reimbursement on a quarterly basis??? Pretty black & white, right ?! Sunshine has already been great for my business. The Physicians do not want their names listed on any companies reporting schedule so they prefer not to go to dinner. What they will do is continue to use Biotronik product because it is the best in quality and reliability! That is something you the competition will never understand.

So you keep spreading your rumors about all the alleged abuses that Biotronik reps are doing and of course no one at your pious company is doing. I am sure that your Physicians are really believing you as you explain your latest recall over an overpriced dinner flowing with wine in hopes of drowning out the truth of your shit company! Make sure you report that dinner and remember no more adding fake names to keep it under your cap... Mrs. Sunshine will be watching you!

No one goes to dinner anymore because CRM is dead. Pacers are commodotized and the writing is on the wall for the same thing to happen to HE devices. The excitement surrounds mapping and AF ablating - improving outcomes while reducing procedure times. Maybe if the spate of recalls since 2004 had not happened we (CRM) would still hold most-favored son status, but now that our star has fallen - our manager is a stent rep who has never run a threshold in his life.
