Because sooo many people were resigning and giving ZERO notice to Sun (as a big f-you on their way out the door), SUN was forced to change their policy of paying out earned, but not yet used, PTO.

Why is it that the Indians don’t get it ?

People having been resigning this year at an incredible rate. Nearly ALL Circle of Excellence winners have resigned.

And when people resign, they feel so visceral about it, that they’ve been giving no notice at all. People busted their a**, earned the vacation and then got screwed.

In an effort to delay departure following a resignation, and as a way of clawing back some dollars, SUN now requires a full two week notice in order to get paid out for your earned but not-yet used vacation.

It’s so f-ing bad over there.

What a sad state that people have such strong negative feelings, even when they’re resigning. Giving no notice wreaks of a horrible culture, and its probably deserved.
 












No idea where you clowns work but most companies out there require two weeks notice otherwise you forfeit your vacation. It's also common courtesy...maybe you should learn some!!!

*** That may be the case, but the real point here is that so many people had such visceral feelings towards Sun that (1) they resigned in meaningful numbers and (2) they had such strong, negative feelings that they wanted to send a clear eff-you message by literally walking out the door.

That’s just another sign to stay away from Sun.

Or (3) the reps who resigned without notice were not working for many months and were finally put to task by their manager. If you do not know the names of your doctors and their staff, it is tough to continue the game. Quitting quickly is better than being fired for cause--but has the same end result.

Look at the data - it's the consistent top performers who were first to resign. They clearly were running their business well, unless you're going to argue the whole goals, sales data reporting and COE data are B.S. and they weren't high performers, they just skated for a few years.
