PDT is not a viable business. In the early years it sounded great but there are several variables that are out of BF’s control that make it not viable. There are also variables that were completely in BF’s control. HL made some huge mistakes launching Ameluz. Biggest mistake made was doing all those clinical trials. BF didn’t have the revenue nor the investment to do: extremities, basal cell, multiple tubes, XL. The only viable one is multiple tubes… which HL sat on for way too long. Now by the time it’s approved and CMS and commercial covers it will be too late. It’s only a matter of time before BF goes belly up
