Does anyone know the current value of the stock options that are exercisable in Jan 2012??

Assuming you mean the ones that were issued in 2009, they are worthless, just like virtually every other Merck stock option issued in the last 15 years. We did have one year with a strike price of $23, but those will be worthless soon, too.

Wait! I just checked---2009 was the one year in recent memory that had an option package worth something. Exercise it quickly, as Merck is going no where but down from here.
