Still no f#%!?Xiidra comp plan in my effing inbox!?



















Is it mandatory for Vyvanse or xiidra to hit 100% in order to receive that $3700?? Im not going to complain about that amount... I can be critical of leadership but they did ok on this one.

That's a little exaggerated. Good. Fair. I wouldn't say great. Especially since we don't know what the stipulations behind it are. Like if we have to be at 100% Vyvanse to get any Xiidra bonus. Considering the nation isn't at 100% V for Q1... I'm not holding my breath.

You do realize that you need to have 95% reach AND 7 calls on each of those docs to even qualify for the remaining tiers right? I certainly wouldn't call that fair. I would call it ridiculous. If you have 20 docs that means you have to see 19 of them and place 140 calls within the rest of the quarter to EVEN QUALIFY for the remaining tiers. If you have more than one no see, lunch only (because we cannot do lunches), someone not in your territory or someone move you're SOL and you get your 200 bucks and nothing else. Sounds fair right? There are several other concerns I could rattle off but that alone is going to rule many (honest) reps out or many people will simply fake these calls which is stupid. Not to mention this means calling on each and every doc at least once within two weeks in addition to your OBU rep. I've already encountered no access, lunches only or docs who simply won't see me if they've recently seen their normal rep. Am I supposed to lie and comply with a metric or do what is best for the customer and my partner? It puts a lot of people in a bad situation and I know personally I'm not going to compromise my career by faking calls. Its not a good plan.

LMFAO. So now these brilliant "leaders" are tying your bonus to executing on their fucked up call plan which is seriously flawed. It doesn't get any better than this circus called Shire.

Well I hadn't heard all this so I retract my previous good, fair statement. You are exactly right. It puts honest reps in a bad position. Fake the calls are get $3700 or be honest and get $200. That seems like a set up to me... a set up for failure on many MANY levels. As someone else stated... no wonder GG left.

Btw-do ALL of this whilst not missing a beat with your NBU responsibilities. No relief in call average or anything. I understand stretch goals. I've spent my entire career in sales and understand companies will always stretch their sales force. However, this is almost a stretch that's impossible, at least for most. And if you have 20 OBU docs versus 10 your work load is much higher with the 7 reach. But when these things happen your sales force will do one of two things-lie and be dishonest or not try at all. Many people will be out of the running before the game even began by sheer bad luck. What they do will be their own individual decision. But at the end of the day the company wants everything and they won't get it. Not realistically anyway. Something will give. Faked calls. Less focus on neuro and missing goal because they are chasing an OBU metric etc..., each rep will have to make a decision based on the situation in their territories. Focus on OBU or NBU? If you miss OBU metrics will you get your hand slapped? You simply cannot creat more weeks in a quarter. It's an impossibility. Your sales force will stretch thenselves when the goal is a possibility and the $$ is there. But in this situation they will not realistically be able to do everything that is being asked ethically and honestly.

The compensation is $200. The bonus $3500 is impossible and a giant waste of time and effort. What if the whole sales force boycotts this BS?
