"He's the president of the United States," said Steve Bannon, Trump's 2016 campaign chief and former White House chief strategist. "He's not a candidate. You need to act like president of the United States. You take action like the president of the United States. You govern like you are president of the United States and you are going to be re-elected."

"We don't need rallies," Mr Bannon said during a radio interview. "We need the president, five days a week, out there doing those types of things, showing people he, as president, is the driver of action."

Interesting perspective from from a smart guy. He’s right to a point but Trump has been very successful since he left and obviously knows what he’s doing.

\But as Bannon says, he doesn't have a plan, it varies every day depending on his mood and he shoots from the hip which he acknowledges. That may work in the New Yawk high rise business but its no way to run a country.

The country and his campaign are vastly different. Trump has a record now and it is terrific. If Trump loses it will mean that we have become a stupid and irrational nation headed toward collapse. I will not be proven wrong.
