STEM Big Pharma BS

When will we stop wasting money on Big pharma tactics!? Anyone who did a STEM ride along I feel for ya, total waste of time….
You should take it seriously. Your Leadership clearly places a premium on the results. Where do you think the pressure is coming from and our "training" is getting turned on its damn ear?

We only have 100 TBM’s. If you can’t get your finger on the pulse, you’re clueless. And our leadership (the people that led that call today) is clueless.

So you send randos out to ride with some of your TBM s. People from outside the company, who spend all of a few hours with some of your folks, and then you spend all kinds of time and money creating some bullshit campaign based on what these randos observed on their few hours with vibitrol TBM’s. Brilliant. All because you don’t actually have your finger on the pulse.

.

They wouldn’t know where to check for a pulse.

How about the sheet we were Fed Ex’d? What a brilliant use of company funds to print that up and overnight it. About as useful as creating a campaign based off the input of outside people that spent a few hours with your people.

Here’s a crazy idea…cut out the middle man just ask your most successful people what they do. Would get real insights and save a bunch of money.

My STEM day i was grilled on the effectveness of my KAM. Needless to say my answers matched most others. I think they've finally wised up to the big KAM lie. It's about time!

During my STEM day, I got beat up with questions about why my TBM could not effectively deliver a market access message about LYBALVI.

I will jump through the hoops and do as asked, but if we are this lacking in our business acumen that we have to take more time out of the field to learn how to analyze our business then we have a bigger issue. Our hiring policies are so nit picky we should have a full army of talented sales people. If we do, we should trust they know what they’re doing. I get “green” reps may benefit from this, but if 10-20 year veterans need this training we have issues. I’m all for learning, but most of us know how to pre call plan, sell and ask for action. If some don’t, figure them out and let the rest of us get our work done. Look at our stock. We need time out of the field like we need a hole in our heads. I’d rather see the money spent on this invested in better sales data, sales tracking, and IC Comp team getting more proficient at setting realistic goals. Just my opinion. Love the job and medicines. Too much micro management.
