[ QUOTE ]
Whats the typical starting salary for someone with minimal sales experience, where is training held and how long?

$10 bucks an hour plus tips... Training's in Buffalo at a Dairy Queen that closed as few years back..

Have you wondered why no one posted any specifics, and no one has posted in a long, long time. It's because when a company is in this steep of a decline, and down-sizing is on the horizon, there is no reason to answer a post about "starting salary." Sorry, dude.

Stay away from this company. We just lost Metro 1 we will lose Clobex spray at the end of December 14. Therefore, we will have an entire Division CS without a primary product. sure those guys will sell and help promote a new drug that already has sky high expectations and then what ? After the launch about 9 -12 months more then lay offs. It has to happen. They cannot make their sales and profit goals / now they are again way off their numbers for this year. About 3-4 years in a row with the French dude. French guy is on his 4th Finance person in like 5 years. They cannot keep stuffing product at the end of the year to cover his mistakes. That s should tell people something about the health of Galderma US.

We are in more trouble then these so called home office managers let on. So why even join this thing. Get with a real company with a real future. No reason to jump on a ship that is declining as rapidly as this one is. The fact that there is as much communication about our current incompetent managers should tell you something. The post about things drying up on this board is true too. Everyone is just hanging on and looking for a better opp to jump to. We just don't care anymore whether you are in the field or worse in the depressing home office.

Good luck,

What is a "real company, with a real future"?

If you've been paying attention, it's not in pharma. MCO's are calling the shots now, not doctors. It doesn't matter if you convince derm to write a prescription, they're not the decision makers anymore. When the ACA kicks in, it will only get worse.

If you want to continue "personalized selling" in the medical field, switch to medical devices, it's still the wild west there.
