Starting Base Salary + Interview Tips

Hey everyone! I'm currently interviewing for a sales specialist position at Teva. I don't have any pharma experience, so I know I would be coming in at the bottom. How much is the base salary in this case typically? Recruiter didn't disclose this to me. Also, realistically, how often are you usually having to travel overnight?

Any interview tips (other than "be attractive" lol) that you could provide is much appreciated as well.

Run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. Teva will squeeze the life out of you.

What is your sales/job experience since you graduated college? Odd to say that considering Teva is looking for experience. I’ll play along: you’re fortunate if you get $80-90k with no pharma experience.

$65-70k, $36k bonus and plan, company car. We're hiring zero experience reps to come in and give the company line "we're preferred on formulary xyz" then the competition comes in after you and shit talks about how these new reps are afraid to talk about the science and real reasons why a med should be chosen. It's the Teva way. We're billions and billions of dollars in debt, we're not hiring a talented sales force. Great way to get into pharma as a young inexperienced rep though.

Quit trolling this site. And if you are seriously asking, Teva doesn't hire sales reps without at least 3-5 years of documented pharma experience. Those that were brought on last summer were training interns and that pilot program has ended.

Wrong! There are several neuro psych reps hired with no experience.

I would ask which pharmacy’s are filling products in your territory. Many territories are not getting credit/paid for their work because these mom and pop specialty pharmacies don’t report
